I liked this way a lot better. it felt like in the other approach I didn't really know where I was going with it, but with this one, it felt like I could develope some sort of plan in my mind as to what I wanted. I was able to plan ahead more it seemed. Plus this way seemed easier for some reason... more straight-forward.
